I Need Romance 3. Episode 1 - My Thought & Quotes.

“A Woman Who Looks Like Sing Sing”

“On the day I was born, it was the first snow of the year. A seven-year-old Sing Sing left footprints in the snow where no one else had walked, as she came to meet me. I heard it all from Sing Sing. She said that on the day I was born, I was like a sweet potato. I don’t believe her.” - Joo Wan

“How is he going to get through life when he’s so ugly?”- Shing-Shing

Whether it's one reason or hundred reasons, a man who say's the word 'break up', I have no intention of holding onto him.If I hold on, will you be held? - Shin Joo Yeon

“Sadness is parting from someone—your heart hurts and that pain grows deep. Something gets tangled in your heart. That’s sadness.” - Shing Shing

Some people break up because they don't like each other, but some just can't see the other person, even if they want to." - Shing Shing

There is no reason to be sad or hurt. A relation coming to an end is natural" - Shin Joo Yeon

I didn't understand. There were things I wanted to ask. But I didn’t ask. There is only one reason for all breakups, the passion of dating has ended." - Shin Joo Yeon

“You’ve changed. I thought about it, why you’ve become this woman. Earlier today you said you had someone you were in love with, but that was a lie. If you were in love with someone, if you were receiving someone’s love, you would be a person who treasured memories a little more.
So if you are dating someone right now, you should break up, because it’s not real love.”
- Joo Wan

"Even if don't want to meet, we will end up meeting soon. Because I'm a person who keeps his promises." - Joo Wan

My thought on the 1st episode:

Starting with a little girl walking with her red coat on the first winter... that was cute. It is good to know that the story begin with something innocent, cute, loveable and sweet. Knowing that this story will soon turn out to hatred, sadness, loneliness and romance... everything that start with a fresh feeling is great.

At first, I've my doubt about these two pairing up... NO! not because of the age, but maybe because I'm still stuck with IRIS and GU FAMILY BOOK. But after watching the 1st episode, I'm relieved that I'm already on track... means waiting for the next episode is definitely a must for me.

This drama have everything you want. If you're someone who repeatedly got hurt and later change into someone much more stronger, capable, cool, successful (well I always want to think I am stronger and cool)... than you'll love Shin Joo Yeon. You'll start to relate  and agree with her in everything she do and for some reason you'll see YOU in Shin Joo Yeon... seriously, I do... and for that reason I'm hooked to this drama.

If that reason wasn't enough, than you'll love Joo Wan aka Allen Joo. He's tall, handsome, sweet, loveable, romantic and so on... everything you want in a guy just list it... he is almost perfect well at least for me. Seriously, I need to find someone soon... I'm the one who need romance now.

Other character really fit in, friends, long lost enemy, crush, ex-lover, and so on. Seriuosly it is too short but yet delightful. Love it!

Main characters

Jun Ji-hyun - Cheon Song-yi

– A well known hallyu star, not just because of her acting, her look, her talent… but also her brainless statement on sns, which makes her the most lovable and yet hated all the time. She hates her mother, her brother is a mess, and miss her father a lot... Seriously, I love her character… why not? She’s pretty, sweet, naïve, over confident and stupid at the same time… much more human to me. Kekeke~

Kim Soo-hyun - Do Min-joon
- An alien who have everything, he have the look, he is rich, perfect career, a penthouse... but lack of social interact. Well it's not that weird that an alien have everything human want, infact I always believe some man are an alien hahaha.
I just hope the writer won't mess his character.

Park Hae-jin - Lee Hwi-kyung

Yoo In-na - Yoo Se-mi-
Shin Sung-Rok - Lee Jae-Kyung
Kim Chang-Wan - Jang Young-Mok

I’m not going to utter so much about the other character, just enough to know that Yoo Se-mi who supposed to be CSY friend is not really a friend. Lee Hwi kyung who continuously in love with CSY hated DMJ for being a man… Lee Jae kyung  is a psycho who killed anyone that’s on his way, and my fav. character Jang Young Mok the one and only loyal friend DMJ have since 1970’s… later known as DMJ father… hahaha

Trailer:

I'll put up my review later, well maybe some fav. quotes from this drama too.

My Thoughts on: 71: Into The Fire

I don't know what takes me so long to watch this movie. If only I know how it makes me feel after watching it I wouldn't delay it this long.

This is an excellent movie. A true story based on 71 student soldier who fight on Korean War. The 71 student who successfully delayed the march of North Korean soldier for 11 hours. They might not the one who stop the North Korean but they've played an important role in that war.

The special effect did makes it look realistic but how the story developed and focusing on the 71 students is what grabbing my attention. How they developed their bond while fighting together, how they resolves their problems, how they become 1, how they followed the order without any guides, how one become a leader... this is what makes it an excellent movie. The way they didn't miss lead the story line makes it great.

Choi Seung-hyeon aka TOP (최승현) as student soldier general, Oh Jang-beom. A teenagers who suddenly become a leader to a group of 70 students. He have to fight his own fears and becoming fearless for his platoon. With his pure heart he leads the groups and become even stronger for them.

TOP's acting skills is remarkable. It is hard to believe that he don't really have a longer script, I realize that he speak less but his action makes you understand him. I think TOP represent Oh Jang Beom well. A teenager who have a lot of fear but yet can't even tell it, a teenager who keep missing his mom and write to her everyday knowing that he might not be able to meet her again, Oh Jang Beom is just a boy who have to be strong and fight for his country and TOP makes us realize that.

Kwon Sang Woo as Koo Kap Jo the trouble maker. One thing for sure, it is amazing how Kwon Sang Woo can still bring out the teenagers in him. Koo Kap Jo is a rebellious teenagers, he can't stand with people who have the communist label around them. His friend is his family, loosing one makes him goes insane. He always pick a fight with Oh Jang Beom, but indirectly he show his loyal to the leader and the group. He is a real fighter, who believe it is better to survive than to die but in the end he knows where he stand.

Kim Seung Woo as Kang Seok Dae. He is a general with a very warm heart. He wants to take care of everyone. He is indeed a great actor. Sorry nothing much to say about his character, but he feels like a father to everyone around him and that makes his role important to me.

Cha Seung-won as North Korean army general, Park Moo-rang. Since this is a South Korean movie, we have to believe that he is the bad guy. Again, I have nothing much to say about his role.

I'll re-write about it when I can figure it out ^^

Overall, it is a worth watching movie. Love it!

If people ask me, what will I recommend them to watch... I'll definitely says 'Me Too, Flower!'

At first I've a doubt about this drama, looking at the rating and my bad habit of reading a reviews makes it even worse. Watching this drama gives me a clear vision of it, now I wonder what is wrong with those reviews and ratings? this drama is so underrated. If I'm going to compare it to some crappy drama I've watch back then on 2011 this is definitely the best.

Some bloggers even stated that this drama is the 2011 hidden gem, and I cannot not agreeing with her. While others watch what have been popularized by some marketing news, this drama gains just a little attention from everyone. I wonder if the reason for being so underrated is because of Lee Ji Ah's scandals... wah~ that is so childish.

Reason why you have to watch this drama is, the line of actors, Yoon Si Yoon, Lee Ji Ah, Seo Hyo Rim, Ha Go Eun, and Jo Min Ki. The list goes on and every one of them is a strong character with a great chemistry.

The fact that Yoon Si Yoon look pretty young for the role of Seo Jae Hee did gives me a second thought, but after watching him in this new character I guess being a replacement wasn't a bad idea at all. I wonder how will Kim Jae Won display Seo Jae Hee... will I think the same now? When other think he look too young for his character, I look it in a different way, the way he talks, the words he says, his eyes and the ways he walks... he is much more matured than that.

Lee Ji Ah who just came out from her hiding prove that she's not just a flower, she is pretty and talented as well. The way she portrays Cha Bong Sun the bad temper, sometimes sweet, sometimes irritating, sometimes lovely, she owns all the emotions but keep it inside her makes her looks cold and just a bad temper cop. I like how Cha bong Sun slowly open up, even when she says no the way she react show us her hidden words.

Other characters makes the story goes on, actually there is no bad character, everyone just want to survive, even  in the name of love, everyone want to to be love. Since it ends beautifully, the rating doesn't matter anymore, sometimes I just hope I can keep both Jae Hee and Bong Sun in my diaries, so there is no end for their love story.

The story started slow but slow doesn't mean it's bad. Overall, I love it!

My Thoughts on: Flower Boy Ramyun Shop

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop is fun to watch. Nothing about it makes me wanna stop. What makes it interesting is the script and the characters. The chemistry between the cast is good.  Overall... It's good! Oh, and I love the soundtrack... a lot!

If there is anything that I don't like about this drama, it's just because this is just another typical romantic comedy drama, it won't challenge your mind or your heart. The story flows smoothly, simple and finally a happy ending. They fight, they misunderstood, they fall in love, they broke up and they're back in relationship again. I guess after watching hundreds of korean dramas I'm good at predicting the ending. Of coz I love happy ending but I don't hate a turn over or climax either. For example, 'Dream High' makes me goes WOW! why? because the main character not always the number one.

I don't expect Flower Boy Ramyun Shop to have that turn over but towards  the end this drama has lose it's sparks... maybe it's just me. Who cares right? you watch it, you decides what you think. What I think is not important so watch it enjoy it and fall in love with it.

After all, ladies.... you'll fall hard to every pretty faces you watch on this drama, over and over again.

Meet the main characters:

Cha Chi Soo (Jung Il Woo) - He is known as a prince who is raise by his rich single father. everything about him is perfect, from head to toes, from his smiles to his winks, he own his very own charm. He also has his own flawed, he thinks it is a nightmare to study and communicate in English, he is mean on his own way.

With that kind of charm and flawed, this 19 years old guy believe he can get whatever he want. No one can harm he not even his dad. But to his surprise he met the one and only person who able to shake his life, he hates everything about her and yet can't help falling deep in love with her.

Yang Eun Bi (Lee Cheong Ah) - 26 year old, and preparing herself to be a teacher. She's not the HOT type, girls don't even take her as a threat. Her bad temper has always been her major problems. Started as a pro volley ball player but think there

Her life turns up side down when two men claimed her as their 'Honey' and 'Wife'.

Choi Kang Hyuk (Lee Ki Woo) - A talented chef, traveled from Japan to fulfill the promises he made. Easy going and sweet. Just like Cha Chi Soo, he own his own charm. He is perfect, but annoyed with simple task. For him, it is troublesome just to open a bag.

Opposites from Cha Chi Soo, Choi Kang Hyuk know where he stand, to love someone and hurt someone else is not an easy task for him, instead of loosing both people he cares he prefer to keep them by his side. To love or to leave he let times decide it for him.
