Members of the party act on their own and have their own thought... the situation getting harder when one of the candidates were involve in an accident which also bring him along his most capable successor.

Kanbayashi Masachi, the leader of the ruling party, and secretary Miyama Rika conceive the idea of fielding the second son, Asakura Keita, who apparently not interested in politics and at the same time working as a grade teacher. But knowing that his mom will take over after his father he decide to give a try and give up if it was fail...

To his surprise he win the election and bring him to the parliament... started from zero and trying to learn slowly another surprise come to him. Kanbayashi Masachi offered him to be on election for the PM seat, and as a normal person he ran away and went to his favorite point gazing stars. Miyama Rika once again pursued him and convince him to take the chance and bring the change that he wanted to do...listening to her advices... he once again give a try with a lot more things to learn, and of coz he win.

Starting from that point Asakura Keita the young PM working harder than his own clark. Changing so many things for his country he even change the way people think and he even change the attitude of his officers. Will he succeed? will everything be smooth as he want?

I don't know how other people rate this drama... but for me it was great... I'll give 4.5 out of 5.
why 4.5? because I believe nothing is perfect so just make it 4.5.

I'm not gonna talk about how cool the cast and so on... but the script writer really are something... I guess what the writer trying to tell us is... make a move and do some votes...
Have u ever votes? to tell the truth I don't, the reason that stated in this drama in the end is just like what I thought... but now it come to my sense that small things can change many things... just like the episode where Asakura Keita (Takuya Kimura) the PM trying to remove the tea order...

What it's look like to have a young PM? what exactly he think? what will happened? why him? this is the question that will arise if someday we might happened to have someone younger, charming and capable in charge as our PM (I would like to have one... but not as a puppet).

Guys you have to watch this... if you're Takuya Kimura fans you really have to watch and even if you're not but trying to change I really recommended this drama. You'll love it. + Madona (Miles Away) songs really cool...

The Wealthy Family / The Grand Tribe / Karei-naru Ichizoku

I'm always a fan of Takuya Kimura...and I have been waiting for his drama all this time and at last the waiting is over...this time the drama is about a wealthy family...

It was originally taken from a novel by Yamahazaki Toyoko, and later a 1974 movie. The only different between the book and this drama is thet the book depicts the conflict within the manpyo family, meanwhile, in this drama it was Manpyo Teppei and Manpyo Deisuke that are the central character.

This drama is set in the late 1960s decade of Japan. The main rivalry depicted in the story is between Manpyo Daisuke (Kitaooji Kinya), a powerful banker, and his eldest son, Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the executive managing director of a steel firm. For some reasons, Daisuke seem to dislike his own son and as Teppei seems to find out the reason for Daisuke's hatred, his whole life is turned upside down with fatal consequences.

What I really like about japanese drama especially the one that Takuya act in is...it shows many morale value on it...how a person work harder and stand still to get what they want...how they manage to be the best...even when it's not the best moment in their life...I think this is the best drama I ever seen...it's not just abot loyalty, love, trust, family but also how to be strong and how to be good in whatever we do...

Engine

This is the latest drama from Takuya Kimura...I've been waiting for this drama since I heard about the news...I got a chance to buy the DVD recently and....It's shows that Takuya is still the best....

Kimura Takuya's roles have had a lot of interesting and cool occupations in the past. He's been an airplane pilot, hockey player, public prosecutor... beautician... etc. Therefore, his role this time as a race car driver isn't too much of a stretch. This drama could probably write itself if it wanted to.

Kimura's (Kenzaki Jiro) character begins this drama as a second driver to a better driver in Europe. He used to be a star driver in Japan. Unfortunately, when he accidentally crashes into his first driver during a practice run, he loses his job and finds himself a washed up racer who is getting a little too old for the sport back in Japan. Because Kimura's characters always love their jobs with a boiling passion, he wants nothing as badly as to race again. He just needs that feeling he gets when he hears the sound of the engine and grips the steering wheel around a sharp turn. Unfortunately, his old racing team now has a better, younger driver and they don't need or want Kimura's character anymore.

He goes back to live at the home of his foster father and sister who raised him. They run a small orphanage-like home for unfortunate children whose parents can't take care of them. Koyuki (Mizukoshi Tomomi) plays a young caregiver who has just been hired there. The kids don't like her because she doesn't seem to understand their feelings and makes misguided attempts to help them. Kimura's character, on the other hand, was an orphan himself and is still very much like a big kid, so he is just what the kids need. Despite the fact that he hates children and just wants to get back into racing instead of helping out at the orphanage, he agrees to drive the orphanage's van and take the kids to school, etc. in exchange for being allowed to live there.

Kimura and Koyuki's characters are obviously set up for a romantic relationship. The two of them will end up together, and Kimura's character will have to go against the odds to become a champion racer again - because Kimura's characters can never give up what they love most.

Like most of Kimura's dramas, this one is pretty entertaining. There has been a surprisingly small amount of racing thus far in the drama, but that may change later on. The child characters are also very important as well, and that probably won't change much. I guess I was expecting a little more racing. Nevertheless, it's an entertaining drama altogether. Kimutaku fans and everyone else should enjoy this one.

PriDe

Once again my fav. actor in a new hot drama...~PriDe~...I love this drama first of all of coz the actor...but after I watch it...there is so much message in there...I love how the team keep good friendship, loyal even trust each other and I love it when there help each other no matter what it cost...In the other side of the story it's a love story...

Kimura (Halu) is a hockey team captain (Blue Scorpion). He is respect by his team mate. For Halu Hockey is a serious things... he will take note almost everything about hockey,  hockey is his life. And to love and live his life fully for hockey he takes love as a game... a game which no one wins and no one lose.

Meanwhile Yuko (Aki) is a just an ordinary working girl, she spends her time without any anticipation except for her boyfriend to comeback after leaving her behind to further study overseas even when there is no sign of him to come back.

One day, Aki and her friends went to a hockey tournament and they join the Blue Scorpion's winning party celebration. Aki who has no interest to be in such crowd leave the party and coincidently saw Halu is beaten by his team mate and that coincidently is how their story begins...

"Nice story, nice actor and actress..."

"[Excerpt from Daily Yomiuri, Wm. Penn, January 22, 2004]: With Pride (Mondays at 9 p.m. on the Fuji network), Takuya Kimura has done it again. This time around he's Haru, an ice hockey star, and he sent the ratings puck zipping skyward in week one with the assistance of a sharply honed Shinji Nojima script. It's an entertaining romance with some serious undertones and lots of ice hockey action. Haru (spelled Halu on his uniform to provide a more exotic touch) idolizes his first coach, Anzai, played by Saburo Tokito, who, like Yukari, is also killed off in the very first episode. But he hovers over the story and Haru's life as he tries to cope with the new irritating coach played by Koichi Sato. One of the things Anzai has instilled in him is that he can't fall in love. Romance has to be a game during his serious playing career. He has no trouble following those rules until he meets Aki. It starts out as a game as his friends pick up her friends and he observes that she may be one of those rare, old-type Japanese girls who is not so quickly picked up or toyed with. This makes the game more enticing because that is the kind of woman he really wants. When Haru finds she is waiting for a long-gone boyfriend to return, he suggests they should just hang out together until then. Since neither wants to get serious, it will be safe for both of them. She sees through this line but agrees. This one will keep viewers coming back game after game. Four goals!"
