“Big’s” Gong Yoo Is Great with Kids

Recently, photos of Gong Yoo hanging out with his child co-stars in between takes have surfaced various online communities. Those following the drama recognized the child actors as “Bunny” (Seo Yeon Woo) and “Teddy Bear” (Choi Ro Woon) from “Big.” The two play Seo Yoon Jae’s (Gong Yoo) patients in the pediatric ward.

As shown in the photos, Gong Yoo allowed Seo Yeon Woo to sit and play on his knees as he fondly looked over them. The photos drew much attention online for Gong Yoo’s affectionate interaction with the kids.

Gong Yoo Ties Lee Min Jung’s Shoelaces in ‘Big’

As if to confuse his teacher even more, Gong Yoo got down on his knees to tie Lee Min Jung’s shoes.

In recently released photos of KBS’s Big, Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung engaged in another sweet scene, where Gong Yoo charms the actress by tying her shoes.

With Lee Min Jung’s feelings wavering towards Gong Yoo, as he plays the character of Kang Kyung Joon, this scene is expected to confused Lee Min Jung even more as Gong Yoo sends warm and affectionate glances towards her way.

In order to portray this sweet scene perfectly, the actors spent a great deal of time, filming into the early hours of the morning. It is said to become another key scene for the Lee Min Jung and Gong Yoo couple.

The scene will air on July 9 with episode 11.

Extra news:

Recently, some still pictures of KBS’s drama series Big (written by Hong Jung Eun, Hong Mi Ran / directed by Ji Byung Hyun, Kim Sung Yoon) in which Gong Yoo ties up Lee’s shoelaces were revealed, attracting netizens’ attention.

Gong puts one knee down on the ground to tie Lee’s shoelaces, sporting a sweet image. From a certain aspect, he looks like a prince charming putting a glass slipper on Cinderella’s foot.

He shows his care for Lee by putting her shoe on his knee and gives a warm, loving look which builds viewers’ expectations higher for the episode.

In order to deliver emotions of Kyung Joon (played by Kong Yoo) and Da Ran (played by Lee Min Jung) more vividly, both actors focused hard on their acting without giving a hint of fatigue though the shooting took place in the middle of night. Their efforts produced another great scene, followed by “inhaling kiss,” “confessing with a Walkman,” and “making pandas” scenes.

On seeing the pictures, netizens reacted: “I don’t want to share Kong Yoo with anyone else.” “I want to have him.” “If Kong Yoo oppa ties my shoelaces, I’ll have my shoes untied 24/7.” “I hope Kyung Joon and Da Ran will be together soon. They look good together.”

Big Fanmde MV - Only Tears

Episode 10. All I can remember is the sad feelings and the tear jerking moment.

Love this songs... and I think it suit the episode very well ^^

Enjoy!

Big (Fanmade MV) - It's All About Your Heart

Clips taken from episode 7, 8 & 9...

Songs by: Mindy Glendhill

I don't mind your odd behavior
It's the very thing I savor
If you were an ice cream flavor
You would be my favorite one

My imagination sees you
Like a painting by Van Gogh
Starry nights and bright sunflowers
Follow you where you may go

Oh, I´ve loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart

You´re a butterfly held captive
Small and safe in your cocoon
Go on you can take your time
Time is said to heal all wounds

Oh, I´ve loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart

Like a lock without a key
Like a mystery without a clue
There is no me if I cannot have you

Oh, I´ve loved you from the start
In every single way
And more each passing day
You are brighter than the stars
Believe me when I say
It's not about your scars
It's all about your heart

Big Fanmade MV - Just A Kiss (Jo Kwon)

* Finally, I got something to do hehehe... Love this drama a lot. So here it is... my latest fanmade video... Enjoy!

Just a Kiss
From your lips
In the Dark
Gives my life a brand new start

Just a kiss
On your lips
Every night
Gives me energy to fight so hard

I tried to open up my mind to show you
Everything that’s here inside
I don’t even need a reason why
A reason why

I tried to catch a falling star
And you saved me by lighting up the dark
You brought the beat back to my heart
Before I lost the will and fell apart
You made it right and you saved my life
You saved my life

Hand in hand
Cheek to cheek
You and me
Standing up against the world

All the pain
All the doubt
I watched it go
Without you I’d be so lost.
I’d be so lost

I tried to open up my mind to show you
Everything that’s here inside
I don’t even need a reason why
A reason why

I tried to catch a falling star
And you saved me by lighting up the dark
You brought the beat back to my heart
Before I lost the will and fell apart
You made it right and you saved my life
You saved my life

Just a Kiss
From your lips
In the Dark
Gives my life a brand new start

Gong Yoo pushes Lee Min Jung against the wall?

Behind the scenes of Gong Yoo’s violent acting has been revealed.

There was a ‘violent pushing scene’ of Gong Yoo on the seventh episode of KBS’s Big that aired on June 25.

After meeting Seo Yoon Jae(played by Gong Yoo)’s mother, Kang Kyung Joon(played by Gong Yoo) quarreled with Da Ran, and he pushed her against the wall. Daran and other female viewers were excited at the sight of Kyung Joon’s unexpected manliness.

Unlike the serious atmosphere in the episode, the still cuts of the shooting displays a friendly atmosphere. Gong Yoo hit the wall but couldn’t help but laugh; Lee Min Jung looked at him and laughed throughout the shooting.

The viewers and netizens who watched the seventh episode of Big responded: “The series surely lives up to Hong sisters’ names.” “I always watch it on time because I’m so curious.” “It’d be great if the series aired every day.”

The eighth episode of Big, which is creating a stir because of the romance between Gong Yoo and Lee Min Jung, will air on June 26 at 9:55 p.m.

Gong Yoo's Song Pick

"It's not easy to pick just a few", actor Gong Yoo remarked with a sigh as he unfolded the A4 paper filled with numerous names of musicians and albums. "Lucid Fall's 'Night At The Border' is good but all of his albums are actually good and 'Greetings (Feat. Kim Yeon-woo)' in TOY's 6th album "Thank You" is the song I promised to sing on KBS music show 'Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook'. Oh, and E Z yung's 'Spring Miracle' is great, too. These days I'm also listening to a lot of No Reply and..".

It was quite refreshing to see this side to the tall and handsome Gong Yoo who is fit to be more of an outdoor man -- as a matter of fact, he did appear as a popular baseball player Park Chul-soon in the film "Superstar Mr. Gam" (2004) -- so hung up with music. Perhaps this side of him is closer to the most recent character he played in the film "Finding Mr. Destiny" (2010), a meticulous man of principle named Han Ki-joon, who travels all the way to India in search of his client Ji-woo's (Im Soo-jeong) first love whom she met there without a clue to what his age is, his hometown, school nor anything else.

In that film which is his first project since being discharged from the military late last year, Gong presents a unique character that looks tall and handsome on the outside but is actually timid and always bearing an expression as if he has been wronged. Of course his 'romantic guy' image is all revived through the flashback of Ji-woo's first love who happens to look exactly like him. Gong Yoo is back to display a different kind of charm from when he played Choi Han-gyeol in MBC series "Coffee Prince" (2007) that captured the hearts of many women, and thus, demonstrating that he has matured both as a man and an actor since then.

"As an actor there are times when you turn edgy, from loneliness or hardships which you can't confide openly and have to keep to yourself. So in order to help myself get over such feelings I came to listen to music a lot, up to the point of thinking that perhaps these singers may know how I feel (laugh). In that sense, musicians seem to have more freedom in delivering their feelings or messages than actors who have to do it through the framework of given characters. That's what I envied about them and why I tried to invite as many indie bands as possible to my radio program "20:00 p.m. with Gong Yoo" at Defense Media Agency when I was serving in the army to try to help spread their music. It was wonderful doing my job as a DJ and coming to understand the message of their songs".

So here are the albums that Gong Yoo selected regardless of genres and more as a listener, as a member of the audience and as an actor.

1. Park Jiyoon's 7th album "Flower, Again For The First Time

Of the many albums Gong Yoo had, this was the first he recommended: the seventh album of songstress Park Jiyoon who returned in 2009 as a singer and a writer after six year hiatus. "Most people associate her with the sexy image from the song 'Coming of Age' but I feel that she has finally found her true self with this album. Although other great musicians like Lucid Fall and Dear Cloud took part in this album, there was this one particular song 'You're Like A Tree' that was both composed and written by Park herself. I felt that she has put much of her ideas and thoughts into it and when I think about how much she must've wanted to do her music all those years, I felt touched and actually proud of her even though I don't know her in person. I was sorry I didn't get a chance to invite her to my radio program. But anyway, whenever I mention her people just think that I like her because she's pretty (laugh)".

2. Yoon Sang's 6th album "Things I Didn't Know Then"

"I was his fan for a long time. His song "The Shadow of Parting" in his first album released in 1991 is still cool even when you listen to it now. One thing I noticed as I listened to the sixth album was that classics last forever. Just like good actors, there are musicians who can maintain one's color even if they don't go against mainstream music, sometimes even leading the trend. I feel a great amount of respect toward such people because they make sure people understand what they created instead of leaving them dumbfounded. Instead of leaving the listeners far behind in pursuit of their own world, they control their pace as they move onward and that's the truly amazing because I know that isn't an easy thing to do".

3. Casker's 5th album "Tender"

"Casker has also been one of my favorite bands for quite some time. For the past few years I noticed emergence of new bands that does music similar to Casker but since I'm still sticking to Casker I guess I really love their music. Jo Won-sun's vocals are good too but since I'm crazy about Lee Yung-jin's vocals, I feel that their fifth album is the pinnacle of their work. Not much has changed for the band all these years but I like it that way, continuously doing music that makes them 'Casker'. I'm no music expert so I can't detail you on the technical parts but I believe that with the passing of time, something naturally accumulates within your music that makes the music made in the 30s different from that made in the 20s. What I feel is the difference in maturity".

4. Mate's 1st album "Be Mate"

"My favorite is the sixth track 'Lean..on you' followed by eighth track 'Why', ninth track 'I Love You', and the 10th and the last tack 'Good Bye' which is all very good and teary". The world has changed allowing people to simply download music cut in single units but Gong still seem to prefer buying albums and listening to all songs from start to beginning in the given order. "I came to know Mate by their title track of their first album 'I Miss You' which was so good that I'm still listening to them. They're mostly into modern rock but their music is by no means unkind or difficult as they incorporate popular codes in their work, too. I once invited them to my radio show, purely for my likes and I remember Jung Joon-il who does keyboard and vocal was most forward in fashion sense (laugh)".

5. NY Fish's second album "Forest Of Truth"

"I liked the title song 'Love Again' from their second album so much that I once recommended this to director Lee Yoon-jung who was in charge of MBC drama "Coffee Prince" (2007). Then she called me one night saying that she was having a drink with NY Fish and that I should talk to him because she told him I'm his fan. She passed the phone to him and there, the man himself said in a slightly tipsy voice "Thank you for loving the work of a penniless musician. I love you!" and he was so happy. I have actually come across many indie band musicians who are surprised that celebrities like their music too. I completely act like an avid fan when I meet them in person, asking them when their next album is due and for those who come to my radio program, I make sure to receive their autographs. It got a little weird, however when they asked for my autographs, too (laugh).

One Fine Day

I Just realized that I haven't put any review on this drama...actually I already wrote it...but I place it at my ither sites...so here is the review...

One fine day is a drama which is involved around 4 people( but the main character that I really wanna know about is only 2 hehehe)...okay...it's another siblings love story but why care, all I know is that Gong Yoo is damn hot

Wink

Seo Gun - a guy who live faraway from Korea doing everything including cheating to everyone that he care...but deep down inside him he felt empty and still waiting for the moment where he can finally keep his promise to the one he love...the promise that he made 15 years years ago.

Seo Haneul - Gun might be the best liar in the world but Haneul could be the best among the 2 of them...living as Park Hae Won for 15 years...pretending to be happy in a wealthy family...she could pretend to be whatever she wants...no one know the this tough lady is actually so weak inside...she believe no one but the one she love...

Hyo Joo - Growing up with lot of love from 3 guys...her dad, brother and Gun. Always refer Gun as her lover even that she knows Gun always refer her as sister...as a weak person she actually has the strong heart...

Kim Dong Ho - He's a guy that full with confident...got sense of humor, he actually a person who lost in his own world and love...until he met Haneul and fall in love again. Got an interesting character...

Love that involved around them is not as easy as it may seem...know what they feel but all that they have done is protecting each other until they got tired and let it out and face the feeling that they have hide and all they really need is time and each other...

All that I hope from this drama is a good ending...I think the ending is kind of too simple well korean drama always do that...the happy part will come so short but the sad part is longer huhuhu...

Coffee Prince 1st Shop

Argh...I know it's not done yet...but I can't help it...the drama was so great that make me wanna tell u how great it was hahaha...

At first I really thought that Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun Hye) don't want to get married that make her disguised as a guy...but it was not...In this drama the one that don't want to get married is Choi Han Kyul (Gong Yoo)...

Go Eun Chan talk, walk, work and even dress like a guy...and she first met with Choi Han Kyul when she's on her daily routine job as a food deliveries. They once again met by accident when Go Eun Chan trying to help Han Yoo Joo (Chae Jung Ahn) from a theft (turn out to be someone she knew) who was at that time were waiting for Choi Han Kyul. After the incident, Go Eun Chan lost her job and at the same time she have a lot of burden on her shoulder and everything has change for her.

Choi Han Kyul who are force by his mother and grandmother to settle down and started meeting different girl everyday in order for him to get married had mistaken Go Eun Chan as a guy from the first time they have met...and he even ask Go Eun Chan be his fake lover...and make all the ladies believe that he is a gay. They become closer even if they did not realize it...

CHK grandmother realize that it's not easy to let CHK stay and settle down so she once again doing it by force which is by handling over a cafe and make him work together with Hong Manager (he is an unbelievable person *urgh*)...and once again CHK and GEC work together and this time they work in a same cafe...

There is up side down for GEC...she have to pretend like a guy all the time. Falling in love with CHK cousin Choi Han Sung (Lee Sun Gyun) but again gave up when she realize that he already have someone and she is Han Yoo Joo...

Meanwhile CHK who silently love HYJ...started to have a different feelings to GEC...and that's actually freak him out...he can't even focus on his work and he even think that he had turn out into a gay...

When this two people become closer, have a fight, and started to keep a secret...they actually fall in love but in a difficult way...argh!!!

At first, CHK trying so hard to convince himself that the feelings that he have towards GEC is not love but the harder he tried the feelings become stronger...trying to overcome the feelings he ask GEC to be his brother...and GEC accept it with an open heart...as long as they could be together anything will do...but still things does not happened as easier as they thought...CHK still can't avoid what he feels to GEC and it's actually hurt him more...so they have fight again and at last he told GEC that he don't care what GEC is... be a man or alien he still love her...

I would like to write what ever happened next in here...but I'm not gonna do that...go and watch it this is great...

sorry guyz...I know I have spoiled it out...but it's just a brief review if I can say so hahaha...
