Super Junior Shindong Stirs Speculation About Marriage

Super Junior member Shindong has stirred speculation that he may soon get married to his girlfriend.

While talking about a conversation he had with top Korean actor Jung Woo-sung, Shindong said on yesterday's episode of SBS variety show "Steel Heart" that Jung had told him he wants to attend Shindong's wedding.

"He said that he really wants to be at my wedding and that he hopes it's on a day that doesn't conflict with his schedule," the singer remarked.

Host Kang Ho-dong asked if that means the date of his nuptials will be anytime soon, to which the boy band member replied, "Coming soon."

In May, the singer had taken the public by surprise when he proposed to his girlfriend through a secret code in their fourth full-length album "BONAMANA." "Nari, let's get married, I'm proposing to you, I'll love you, forever," the code read.

He then proposed to his girlfriend on national television, saying "The one thing I most realized since meeting you is that my heart aches when you are not with me. I felt that I was always happy when you are with me. I want you to be happy with me forever. Marry me.”

However, an official from SM Entertainment denied a wedding was imminent. “The two families haven't arranged a formal meeting with each other yet because of their schedules. Shindong and Jung Nari (his girlfriend) are not planning on getting married right now but they want to get their approval," explained the official.

Shindong made his debut in the 13-member boy band Super Junior in 2005, releasing numerous hit records and songs including "Sorry, Sorry," "It's You," "Rukkugo" and "BONAMANA."

Outside of his singing career, Shindong has appeared on various entertainment programs as well as hosting his own radio show.

Upcoming Korean series "Mary Is Out of Night" starring Jang Keun-suk has been presold to China for a record high price for a drama, according to the show's promoter Ytree Media.

On Wednesday, Ytree announced that Golden Luck 社, one of China's largest distribution companies, have signed a contract for distribution rights of the new drama which is set to air on Korea's public network KBS starting next month.

Based on the online comic by famed writer Won Soo-yeon, "Mary" revolves around a woman (played by Moon Geun-young) who makes realizations about love and herself while being in two fake marriages for 100 days to completely opposite men -- Moo-kyul (played by Jang) and Jung-in (played by Kim Jae-wook).

Top Korean actor Jang Dong-gun's wife actress Ko So-young has given birth to a boy, Jang's agency said on Monday.

Celebrity Suicides Show Proof of the ‘Werther Effect’

Emergency measures are being called for after results of a recent survey showed that an average of 606.5 people commit suicide within two months of a publicized suicide of a famous celebrity.

On October 3rd, Senator Lee Ae Joo of the Grand National Party revealed the results of the analyses between the ‘2009 Statistics of the Causes of Death’ and ‘Monthly Death Toll Rates’ in Korea.

Between 2005-2009, the celebrity suicides which were most publicized by the press were: Lee Eun Joo (Feb 2005), Yooni (Jan 2007), Jung Da Bin (Feb 2007), Ahn Jae Hwan (Sept 2008), and Choi Jin Shil (Oct 2008). The suicide survey, of which the purpose was to find the relationship between suicide rates and celebrity suicides, were based on these five celebrities.

According to the Senator, the suicide rate increased the greatest after the death of Choi Jin Shil, with the total number of suicide cases rising to 1008 within two months of her death. The number of suicide cases for the remaining celebrities were as follows: Ahn Jae Hwan – 694 cases, Yooni – 513 cases, Lee Eun Joo – 495 cases, Jung Da Bin – 322.5 cases.

Senator Lee Ae Joo stated, “Committing suicide after the suicide of a famous celebrity is often known as the ‘Werther Effect’. To prevent this Werther Effect from occurring, we must undergo measures to prevent the celebrities themselves from committing suicide. Measures such as examining how suicide news are written must also be implemented for improvement.”

He continued, “The Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Suicide Prevention Association will be working together with media and press coverage to thoroughly review and improve guideline values for suicide news. Government investment and effort is also urgently required to maximally extend the citizens’ education opportunities on this matter.

* Korean celebrities need their own psychiatrist. With all sort of netizen unnecessarily comment, stress level, agencies demand and so on.... their company at least need to prepare for the worst. I don't blame the fan for doing the exact same thing like their idols do, coz some people live their life base on what they wan to believe and hold on (if u're one of them... I'll suggest... get some help)

Rappers Take Offense To TaJinYo Statement

A statement made by an admin of TaJinYo on MBC’s “Tablo Goes to Stanford” has become another controversy in itself, with many rappers taking offense and making parodies of it.

On the broadcast, one admin referenced to Tablo by stating,

“He didn’t even study and just hung around all day. All he did was hip hop and somehow got famous in Korea while the rest of us were up all night with bloody noses trying to study.”

Many rappers have come forward since the broadcast and expressed their anger on their personal Twitters. Leading rappers of the hip hop world such as Supreme Team’s Simon D, Beatbox DG,Pe2ny, Soul Company’s Make Sense and others left messages with sarcastic remarks regarding the statement.

Simon D wrote, “I’m going to go do some hip hop today, just like yesterday. Tablo hyung, find strength. The truth will always win,” while Pe2ny wrote, “It’s raining today, time to do some hip hop.”

* I don't know that it was wrong to be smart. Don't they know that different people have different IQ level. And it seems to me that whoever that admin is he is telling us....
" I admit... I'm not as smart as Tablo, that is why I have to study all night."
or in another words...
"I admit that I'm jealous of him. He's not just too smart but he's also quite popular while I'm still nothing even when I'm trying hard.."
Don't get confused... that's my own words. I'm full with imagination LoL...
I just hate people that trying to condemn someone else because they don't get what they think they deserve.

My Girlfriend Is Gumiho Review

Phew!
Finally I'm done watching it and it took me 2 days & 1 night to get over it.

Before I go on mumbling about how I feel, what I think and so on... let's get back to the basic things... oh yeah that's right... the introduction, synopsis, line of actors and bla bla bla....

I know most of you have already know about this, but just let me do this and you can skipped as much as you like, I don't mind it at all (^^)... see I'm being generous here LoL

My Synopsis:

Cha Dae Woong (Lee Seung Gi) is a young man who showered with loves and wealths by his grandfather and aunty after he lost his parents in an accident. He wasn't just loved by everyone but also good looking, popular and good in acting. Some people or 'friends' around him get close to him with motives... no matter what it is Cha Dae Woong just know how to spend his money. Everyone know how much in love he is with Eun Hye In (Park Soo Jin). And no one believes that some day the arrogant, irresponsible Cha Dae Woong will easily fall in love to a village girl who he called Gu Mi Ho (Shin Min Ah) and started changing to much more like what his grandfather wish he could be and all of this changing attitude is because Gu Mi Ho keep a secret that ' You have to die if you knew it...'

Everything works well even with some interruption by Eun Hye In things still going smooth for Gu Mi Ho until Park Dong Joo ( Noh Min Woo) appear. Park Dong Joo look incredibly handsome... beautiful and perfect that makes you think is he really a human? (LoL actually that is what I have been asking myself....) and it happens that Park Dong Joo is one of the Gumiho's hunter... and he's not only hunting Gumiho but use to fall in love with one of them 1000 years ago who apparently look alike to Gu Mi Ho... confused? just skipped that and watch... (^^). Park Dong Joo mocks Gu Mi Ho's love by telling her that she is leaving in her fantasy world and silently believe whatever he is trying to do is to protect Gumiho from being hurt by a human called Cha Dae Woong....

Cha Dae Woong and his 9-Tailed fox girlfriend shows us  stages of relationships they've been trough... from enemy, friend, crushed and a lover.... they've only showed us the simple rules.... be truthful, believe and love as much as you can. There is no questions and no answer when it comes to LOVE.

My review:

I'll recommended this drama to you. You'll have mix feelings about it. First of all you will definitely fall in love with Cha Dae Woong and Gu Mi Ho.

Their character just surprisingly cute, adorable, funny, sad, lovely or whatever it is you want to think. The first episode will successfully invade your daily life... I mean you'll just have to put this drama in one of those busy life you have and watch it.

What I like:

I like it how Cha Dae Woong character slowly changing... I guess every girls out there want to believe they have their own charm to tame a wild guy like him right... so thumbs up to Hong Sister to put that kind of qualities to Gu Mi Ho.

I just love how Gumiho's character look strong, funny, cute, naive, simple minded and considerate at the same time. Her process of learning to survive in human worlds quite interesting. And Shin Min Ah just make it even great.

One of my fav. Scene... ep 16. I cried a river watching this.... (T T)
Lee Seung Gi... I almost cry when I see him cry... I barely breath when he started to hold his tears especially on the last episode... when the camera shoots his back while he is trying to hold his tears that's broke my heart... and that's the genuine feelings that I think I have to give credit to Seung Gi... why? because I'm not a person who cry easily... so Seung gi just did it.

Noh Min Woo, geez I can't say much about him... I've been busying myself asking how come this person still look pretty, handsome and damn good... hahaha so thanks to his look I realize that Hong Sister actually want us to believe that... Park Dong Joo is not a human... okay not just his look... he portrayed the cold hearted, selfish Park Dong Joo in a good way.... when he is confused... he just look confuse... when he is mad or sad he do look sad... overall he is good.
I like the grandfather too.... I don't know why but I just like him. No other reason

Oh I like it when they come up with Go Mi Nyu (Park Shi Hye) Jeremy (Hong ki) character hahaha.... the end for Eun Hye In story look great...

I totally in love with the OST... I change my message ringtone to Fox Rain... that's how I love it ^^

What I don't like:

I don't like it when out of nowhere you can see there is one of the crew staff holding a mic standing there... I'll show you the prove ... in case u didn't see it...

You know what its mean to have this kind of error? that's mean the director wasn't there when they shoot the scene... and he wasn't there when they do the editing...

I don't like it when the grandmother finally came out but didn't show how she resolves the problem.... even if she did... I just think what a waste... at least she have to talk something to Gumiho... right?

Overall:

I give this drama 4.9 over 5.

Whatever I don't like in this drama I'll just close my eyes and forgive it... because... I seriously still can't get over it.

Now it's totally up to you to watch it or not. I am not you and you're not me... so different people has different point of view... all I can say is... Enjoy whatever you're watching now.

~THE END~
