Finally arrived at her apartment, he goes straight up to her floor without calling her ahead of time like how he usually used to do.

Ding Dong…… Ding Dong…… Ding Dong……

Rapidly pressing the door bell button……

When she opened the door, her smiling face is delightedly greeting him.

HJ is stunned,

Maybe she did not know yet?

“Hurry up, gets in, why are you so dazed?!” She smiled at him and pulled him in…….

While he is still taking off his shoes, he spares a gaze to watch her reaction. She does not seem like she is mad at all.

Sigh in relieve, this even better, he could alert her in advance.

“Aren’t you filming your drama today? Why would you be here all of a sudden? Do you have dinner yet?” She in her causal wears standing at the foyer smiling at him asked.

Walking straight where the couch is located, HJ threw himself on it and stretches his sore feet.

“Which one should I answer first?” He looked up.

“What?” She sat beside him asked.

“You asked 3 questions, which one I should answer first?”

She laughs, “Do you have dinner yet?”

Stretches his arms this time, “Not yet, seems like haven’t eaten since breakfast time.”

Her smile fades away, “How could the crews didn’t even give you time to eat? How could your body tolerate this? You wait here……”

Pulling her back from getting up, hugs her in his embrace, buries his head on her shoulder, lightly kisses her hair, smelling the refreshingly nice scent of her after shower fresh, and feeling her soft touching body tightly clinch in his arms. These touches finally erased the last sting of his annoyance, he is now relaxed wholeheartedly, so relaxed that he felt his heart turns into Jello.

“You just rest here, I’ll prepare dinner.” She escapes from his embrace, but HJ successfully steals a kiss on her lips before she is trying to get up.

HJ cannot control himself from following her to the kitchen leaning on the door frame to the kitchen, looking at her busy image preparing his dinner. Bending down to pick up Jins who is wagging her tail and wandering around him, settling Jins on his arms, he feels like some warm bubbles growing from his heart, warming his tiring soul. Perhaps that’s so called happiness and blessing, he thinks to himself. 

“No matter what you see, no matter what you hear, could you just put trust on me?” He said.

HB stops chopping, turns around and looks at him,

“What did you do that you need to emphasize to me giving trust on you?”

He immediately shakes his head,

“I didn’t, I always keep my promise.”

“What promise?” She slightly tilted her head and tried to recall.

“The pledge of love I wrote, you don’t remember?” 

“The one from WGM? …… That’s a request from the crew, they asked us to write……” She lightly smiles.

“I wrote it by heart……” He emphasizes.

She tucks her arms in front, “Then, let me listen, which one you follow the best?”

“I will never look at another woman.”

She gives him a gaze, “Really?”

“Of course, except for work, I always keep at least 1 meter distance.”

She stares at him for a while, then turns around,

“Why are you this serious, I didn’t request you to do so.”

Her voice is very calm, he could not feel or figure out her mood.

True, she did not request, even more, she does not ever request a single thing from him, this in turn frustrated him.

In the past, he thought of a married couple to keep a certain degree of independent is really good. Giving each other enough freedom and not giving burden to each other. But now, he wishes to put his freedom on her hand, but she does not appear to appreciate, all the more, she wants to ignore, how would this not get him frustration.

She does not want to tie him up, and she does not want him to tie her up, would it be that her subconsciously does not want to fall deeper?

Sometimes he thought, ‘Is she purposely giving me complete freedom, and expecting him to give her the same amount of freedom?’ 

Aish …… Sure enough, the mission is not really accomplished, secret agent HJ still need to put in more effort.

Making a deep sigh, getting close to her, showing his pitiful plaintive yet handsome face,

“I’m being dead serious in disciplining myself, as my girlfriend, aren’t you at least trying to show a slight sign of touched?”

His droll expression tickles HB, playfully pushes away his face,

“Arraso, I’ll heartedly practice in front of the mirror starting today……”

While eating the Kimchi stew she prepared for him, HJ mutely took out the newspaper from his pocket and handed it over to her,

“Scandal is out in the newspaper today, this was captured when the whole filming crews went for dinner two days ago, and the paparazzi took it while we walked out of the restaurant.”

Putting a mouthful of rice, slowly chewing while observing her reaction carefully,

She seriously reading the headline news which occupied the whole front page,

He felt the time freeze for a long while, she finally puts her head up, smiling,

“They took a good photo shot…….” 

This is not the reaction he thought he would get, distracted for a moment, mumbled, “This is not true……”

“Yep, I know……” She nodded.

He carefully watching her, would she being too mad and said the opposite? ……

“You aren’t upset then……”

She shrugged, “Just felt a bit uneasy, as long as this is not true, there’s no need for me to ham it up.”

She did not even show a slight sign of Jealousy on her reaction, his powerlessness rose uncontrollably.

“You trust me that …… that much?”

“I believe if something really happened, you would not let me be the last one to know, am I right?” 

Although giving him trust is good, but…… but…… this is not the kind of trust he wish, he wishes a different type, aish…… lump in throat……

He did not answer, lowering his head and continue to eat his meal.

“You came all the way here from the filming site to tell me this, right?” She softly smiled and asked.

That’s right, he answered in his mind, but seems like this is not necessary.

Mockingly smile at himself, “Very funny, right?”

“How could this be funny, you care that much of my feeling, of course I am touched ar……” She holds his hand.

“Is it? But you did not show a bit that you are touched, you even seems like you don’t care at all.”

He sounds very much plaintive, he even considered to pout his lips to boost the visual effect.

“That’s because you hastily rush in and explain to me, for that reason, there’s no need for me to be mad ar.” Her sparkling eyes show a glimpse of sly.

“Is it?”

“Of course it is, if I heard this from someone else or I read the newspaper myself, and you did not come and explain, I will not let this go that easily.”

“Really?”

“Really ……” She firmly nodded.

His mood immediately lightens up, and the food he is eating becomes tastier.

“I’m staying here overnight ……”

“What? ……” Such a change in subject, she merely cannot follow. “Wea?”

“I have to rush back to the filming site very early in the morning, I don’t want to be tossed back and forth.” He mentioned casually as if that there is nothing worth to be pay attention to.

She did not answer, her stare go around observing him for a long time,

“If you’re thinking about THAT kind of thing, relax, I’m too tired today, can’t even if I want to, …… Anyway, if you’re not keeping me for the night, I’m going to sleep in the car.”

Enjoy looking at her face suddenly turns red, and escaping his gaze.

At last, his wish of staying was after all fulfilled, the first time staying at her place, he fully satisfied occupying her guest room, and sleep soundly and happily.

She draws the newspaper from her handbag she brought this morning, making a grimace at his photo. Together with the one he brought with him, threw into the garbage bin.

Part 1

His hand is on the steering wheel, looking at the long traffic line up.

Annoyance is the only feeling at the time, wiping his tired face by his hand and harshly run his hand through his hair.

Sparing a look at the newspaper that is lying on the passenger’s seat,

His own photo used up half of the front page making the headline news.

The picture showing him giving a merely smile, the woman beside him smile wholeheartedly, the huge headline impressively stated, “Kim Hyun Joong & 李云姬 caught sweetly dating in secret.”

李云姬 is the leading actress for the drama that he casted as the leading actor, they would only bow to greet each other on set, beside filming, there is no interaction what so ever, why would such picture got released?

Could it be that dinner gathering where the whole crew attended? He barely remembered they stepped out of the restaurant one after another with their managers when the gathering ended, and this was the only incidence.

Do not know how the paparazzi caught the angle, from the picture, it looked like they walked shoulder to shoulder and he coincidently raise his arm up, which looked pretty much like him trying to hug 李云姬 by her shoulder.

Those stories made up by paparazzi, he never spent his energy explaining them, the truth would reveal itself eventually, why would he waste his effort to do this nonsense?

But this time……

Annoying…… Piss……

The newspaper released in the morning, but not until in the evening, he got to find out about it.

Trying to make an excuse to ask for an early dismiss from the director, although he does not have a lot of shooting today, he is still very surprised the strict and hard-headed director would allow his request, he is turning lucky.

Maybe she has not read it yet, then, he could declare his innocent ahead of time; but if she had unfortunately read it already, at least he could explained it first handed, instead of her knowing nothing but starting to receive some “sincere consoling” calls from her well spread celebrity network.

This morning when he talked to her on the phone, she sounded normal, maybe she has not read it yet at that time,

But several hours had passed already, what if…… she already read it……..

He has been extremely careful and conscious, besides work; he made sure he is distance away from other woman, making absolutely minimal contact with other female substance, how could this kind of thing still happened?

He has been making such hard efforts barely turns himself into boyfriend kinda material at last, he definitely not wanting this kind of rumour ruined her already worried heart, giving her evidence to her always conscious mind. Even if someone trying to clinch on him, at least he is making sure that was not caused by his improper manner to give out wrong impression.

Making another deep sigh, looking at the long line-up in front of him finally starting to move inch by inch, he released his break and followed.

How could the traffic be jammed terribly like this, isn’t there someone even paid attention to the problem and find a resolution?

Why couldn’t the ministry of transportation in Seoul do something to resolve it? Are they taxed us for nothing?

Why would there so many cars on the road anyway? Why people not taking the subway instead? Isn’t the subway faster? Isn’t the subway supposedly helped to ease the traffic jam? How great is that? People should take subway!

Why couldn’t people just drive one day less for the sake of the environment? How could people that low of self esteem in saving the environment?

Hyun Joong mumbled to himself all the way to Hye Jung’s place.

Chapter 38 (END)

Chapter 38

He is here catching her in front of him already, there is no way he will let her slip out that easy.

Looking at her, “Do you…… Do you really not have anything say to me?”

“……” She didn’t answer, looking straight ahead,

“You said you haven’t figure out yet, is that true?” He asked.

“…… Yep …… That’s true.” She considered a bit and said,

“Even now? ……” He asked further.

“Yep ……” She nodded.

“Then, why are you avoiding meeting me? ……”

“……, I think it is better not to meet you before I figure out my thought.” She finally takes a look at him, but quickly slips away from the glance and turn back looking straight ahead again.

“Wei?” He asked again.

She looks down, playing with her fingers, taking a moment, 

“I haven’t prepared myself to meet you yet, I’m afraid …… meeting you will affect my judgment.”

This reasoning……, really, he does not know he should cry or laugh about it,

“Could you tell me the concerns you are considering or thinking of?”

She looks up and wrinkles up her forehead, “Do we have to talk about it right now?”

Although she looks a bit annoyed, he does not want to miss the chance, he merely talks to himself in his mind, if he let this chance slip off, something wrong may happen again along the way.

“What’s so wrong about now? It’s quiet, no one disturb, and the mood is just right.” He bluntly said and gazed at her, and she stare back at him too,

Silently looking at each other, slowly, he watches her expression turns from being a bit annoyed to releasing a soft vibe.

She makes a deep sigh, slipping out of the gaze, finally says,

“You may probably know I got an eight years relationship with my ex-boyfriend.”

This is the first time she tells him about her past, he softly listens.

“The very moment before he wanted to break up with me, I still strongly believed we would get married, having children, holding hands till the end of the road…….”

“…… 8 years, it is a lengthy time, I put in a lot of efforts, and I thought we have a future together, but……”

There is sign of sobbing in her voice, he turns looking at her, finding her biting her lips trying to get hold of her emotions. Looking deep at her, he could feel her emotions and his heart trembles along with hers.

Taking a moment to herself, she carries on,

“He said our personality didn’t match, I don’t think that is the real reason ……. Although I try to get through the breakup and moved on over these years, but I still couldn’t figure out the real reason why we failed, ……, that also means, I don’t understand how …… and what I need to do to make it works …… My friend said I haven’t completely healed from the breakup, I still got a wounded scar in my heart, ……, I don’t want to admit it, but deep in my heart, I know this is true, I …… I lost the courage to love, could you …… could you understand?”

Take a look at him, she gives a bitterly smile.

He feels a sudden bitterness flashed to his throat, he cannot refrain from swallowing down the bitter sensation, and no word could let out from his lips.

“Thanks to you, I got back the feeling of being in love again ……,” 

She gives out a thin smile, looking at her, he returns a slim smile. If he heard her saying the same words to him in other time, he must have dived for happiness, but after what she just said to him, at this moment, he really couldn’t find himself smiling.

“Because of what had happened, I care about gain and loss, I care about the consequence, I asked for outcome …… How does the Hwang Bo Hye Jung you are fond of looks like in your mind? Is she looks decent, is she understandable, is she caring, is she kind and would not reckon on end result ……, but would you accept the other side of me? The one that could be dogmatic, could act childish, would get jealous, and could be unreasonable and illogical …… Do you love the real me …… Or do you love the perfect Hwang Bo Hye Jung that you pictured in your mind?”

This is the first time she displays in front of him the many feelings she got in her heart, he selfishly thought even though he did not say much, she would understand him, he didn’t realize ……

Getting to know the many thoughts of hers, He feels the tenderness in his heart. On one hand, he is demanding her for an answer; but on the other hand, he never gives her enough confident and security. Even though she is in such worrying and obscure mood, she is still giving her best to him, always taking his interest in priority.

He reaches out his hand grasping hers in his. 

She freezes a bit, looking at the holding hands, but does not try to break loose.

He gives her a smile, before he starts, 

“I’m looking forward to find out the imperfect side of yours like how you just mentioned, could you consider giving me the chance?”

“…… I’m not perfect, and I’m not looking for someone that’s perfect, it would be too tiring …… I just wish that after a tired working day, I could come home to someone I love and living a comfortable yet quiet life.”

“Although I feel sorry, I must admit to you that I……. I never thought you are perfect, we are the same type of person, doesn’t really know how to hide our own feelings.”

She looks down quietly listening,

He pauses, looking at her sideward, could not see her detail expression, he tightly grasps on the holding hands.

Would she take in what he said just now? All of a sudden, a surge of panic rises from his heart. She already confessed to him about her affection, even so, she still could not make the decision. If what she is lacking now is confident and security, then he would be in an endless wait if he leaving her alone trying to come up with the decision, cause in her mind, the worry might always be one step ahead of the resolution.

“If you are still hesitate and unsure, I could give you enough time to make the final decision, but before that, could you try not to draw away from me?” He said.

Questions filled in her gaze, “What do you mean is …….?”

“Don’t draw away when I try to get closer, don’t turn me down when I try to meet up with you, and don’t ignore me when I try to contact you.”

“Then …… What kind of relationship is this?” she starts babbling,

He takes a moment, and said, “hmmm….. How about a tryout? I provide you an unlimited tryout period, until when you are ready, either you think I could officially be your boyfriend…..or dismiss, you have the final word.”

She rounded her eyes, and she seems speechless, 

Taking a long silence, she finally finds back her voice,

“How could I do that? That’s……. That’s so unfair to you.”

He cannot hold himself smiling, even at this moment, she still put his interest first,

“Is it fair to me, that up to me to determine.”

“But …… But ……”

“What is it?”

“What happened if the feelings fallen deeper? …….. What happened if there’s hurt in the end?” Her voice gets deep.

He could only prove himself through time and efforts, there is no better way right at this moment, now that he understands what she is thinking, he would try his best to put her worries into consideration on things happened between them, being more thoughtful for her.

“Would you give me the chance to figure out …… Figure out what would we do on those scenarios?” 

He looks at her, seeing tears flashes in her eyes, finally break out wildly running uncontrollably down her chin.

Seeing her burst into tears, his heart again trembles along with hers, softly, he pulls her in his embrace.

She buries her face in his warm chest, sobbing endlessly, his cloth gets wet little by litter by her tears.

………

Time passes, she cries as if she is short of breath, and he softly patted her back trying his best to comfort her.

“Wei? …….. Why are you touching like this? Arraso, I will treat this as a yes from you.” 

“Who ……. Said I …….. am touched?” She still buried her face in his chest, with her sobbing tone, she murmured.

“Not touched? It wouldn’t be that worst, I am not asking you to die for martyr.” He uses his own unique way trying hard to lighten up the mood.

Finally hearing her light laugh, he cheers up too.

“When you are ready, wore the gift I gave you if you accept me; if not, just rejected.”

She considered for a long while, at last, she nodded.

Promise (Chapter 36 & 37)

Chapter 36

Arriving in Seoul, stepping out of the Airport, and sending him a message telling him she just got back.

He replied, “Got it”, he did not say any further.

That day when he asked if she would accept the gift, she replied saying that she has not figured out yet.

It is true that she really has not figured out yet. She has been thinking deeply throughout the whole US trip, although her thoughts have been changed, but she still could not come close to a conclusion.

Getting back to her apartment, giving JunJin a call and telling him that there is something she wants to discuss with him, and confirms to meet with him tomorrow.

She is in jet lag, so she slept through the whole night.

The next day, having lunch with JunJin around noon time,

Showing JunJin the photos she took during her US trip, and telling him all the interesting stories happened in the trip.

Finishing their lunch, while enjoying their tea, HB keeps her silence for awhile before she starts,

“Choong Jae, I want to be irrational for once, what do you think?”

Watching over JunJin’s expression, and a bit nervous on what she had just said.

JunJin is a bit surprised, tucking in his arms under his chest and looking at her for awhile,

“Are you saying …… you made up your mind?”

She looks down and softly says, “Still unsure and hesitate ……”

“Have you talked to Hyun Joong yet?” JunJin pours her some more tea and asked.

“Not yet ……., I want to chat with you first.” HB said.

HB looks up,

“What if …… I urge you not to try out something silly like this?” JunJin asked.

“I…..don’t know……,” She really hopes that he could convince her enough, so that she would not be vexed by this anymore.

JunJin keeps his silence for awhile, then slowly starts,

“He is still too young, the age gap between you two is huge.”

“Yep, I know……”

“He is not settling down anytime soon, there are too many variances that could be changed.” JunJin continues his conviction.

“Yep …… But even if he is someone else who is comparative to my age, will the variances be less and unchanged?”

She unknowingly voices out her opinion,

JunJin pauses for a moment, then continues,

“He is an idol,”

“Yep ……” She acknowledged softly,

“For a very long while in the future, your relationship must be undercover, this relationship would be very difficult for you to keep and carry on.”

“I am a celebrity too, even if I dated an ordinary guy, most likely I have to put the relationship undercover as well, and I won’t be able to have normal date too.” She said.

She thoroughly thought of this scenario already.

“How about Marriage? You are in the age of considering Marriage soon.” JunJin continues.

She could not say a single word, and this is the thing that bothered her the most,

“What did Hyun Joong say about this? Did he ever consider the future? Could it be that you would accept and start a relationship without thinking your future and without considering Marriage?” Looking at her keeping her silence, JunJin does not stop and continuously convincing her. 

“I don’t know, haven’t discuss with him yet,” She said,

“Even if the relationship started with consideration of future and all, there’s no guarantee that it will aim to Marriage in the end …… Isn’t it better not to be this sedulous and too sensitive about Marriage to begin with, and go with the flow to naturally and discreetly walk our way to Marriage?” She’s been thinking about this all these while, but this sounds so flimsy that it doesn’t even convince herself, she looks rather uneasy before taking a peek at JunJin.

JunJin picks up his cup, and takes a sip of the tea, falls in his deep thought for a moment before he continues,

“What if you two couldn’t walk ‘til the end of path? Would you be able to overcome the pain once again?”

This is what she scared the most, she had been through that tremendous pain before. Although she thoroughly understand that the pain would subside slowly but surely through time, but she really does not want to go through that painful path again.

Even though she is scared, but no one could predict what future lie ahead, no one knows if there is the happiness or bitterness lie ahead in the future. Unless someone refused to live their life, otherwise, how would anyone refuse to accept bitterness in life?

“I don’t know…… You could not predict the future in the beginning of any relationship, all you could do is to grasp and cherish what you have now.” HB carefully thought about it in her mind before she softly replied to JunJin.

JunJin suddenly starts to laugh,

“You’ve already been carefully considered and thought thoroughly, what else could I say?”

She blushes, and murmurs shyly,

“…… Although I’ve been carefully considered those doubts and worries, I still don’t have enough confidence and steadiness about us.”

“So, you called me out today trying to ask me to cheer you up?” JunJin asked.

“Ani, Ani……. I just want to chat with you ……” HB answered immediately.

JunJin offers his hand to her, “Congratulations!”

Looking at the hand JunJin offered in front of her, without thinking, HB reaches out her hand too, JunJin grasps her hand tightly and shakes her hand.

HB finally gets hold of herself and responses to him, 

“What? ……. Congratulations to what?”

“Congratulations to you finally recovered and standing on your feet again.” JunJin said.

She is still confused and puzzled, “What do you mean?”

“We keep worrying about you these years, we don’t know when you would completely recuperate from what happened two years ago.” JunJin said.

“Wei? I recovered long time ago, aren’t I? I am still the same Hwangbo Hye Jung as always, aren’t I?” HB asked.

“To the casual observer, you seem you recovered. But to us, it is obvious that you are not, ‘cause you are afraid to love again ……” JunJin calmly said,

HB outrageously looks at JunJin, she could not even mumble a word out of her lips,

JunJin continues, “If you don’t have and lost the courage to love, how could you said you already recuperated and standing on your feet again? You could at most claim yourself crouching.”

This is what she does not want to admit and this is the subject she does not want to touch, but JunJin mentioned this so causally but firmly. She thought she hide it well enough that no one would notice, but apparently this is not the case.

The sudden surge of emotions grow wildly from her heart, her tears flowing in her eyes blurred her sight, finally, quietly running down her cheek then to her chin.

“Yah, you should at least give me a sign before you start to cry like this, I need time to prepare myself emotionally too.” JunJin is in a flurry, trying to grab her some facial tissues.

“Are you this touching to have such a handsome friend like me? “ JunJin grins cheekily approaching her,

Pushing away JunJin’s approaching face, HB can’t help but breaks into laughter,

“When did you find out? …… I never hear you mentioned it before ……” She asks him while she’s wiping off her tears,

“We all know, an on-looker could see clearly, but this is something you have to go through on your own, others couldn’t really give you any help.” JunJin said.

“…….”

Completely touching, she is blessed to have such wonderful group of friends around her, quietly protecting her, taking care of her.

“I personally not fond of Kim Hyun Joong, you already know the reasons.” JunJun said.

“Yep ……”

“But as long as you made your decision, we would unconditionally support you.”

“Komapsumnida,”

This word could not express how grateful she is to her friends, but she could not find any other vocabulary fits better than this word.

Chapter 37

The drama is wrapping up, the drama filming is slowing down and his filming schedule is not as packed as before, but this doesn’t mean his own schedule is less hectic. SS501 is preparing for their come back as 5 members together after their long hiatus, his practicing schedules, studio recordings, CF shootings, etc., are using up most of his time. 

He is still very busy, sometimes, he even forgot the time and day he was in.

But he clearly remembered she came back to Seoul 6 days ago.

Got no filming schedule in the evening, he is practicing the choreography for his new solo song in the dancing studio.

The first time debuted in acting and received praise for his hard work, he felt inspired and encouraged, and he wants to take up another acting challenge in the future.

But at the same time, he realized deeply how passionate he is towards Music, he is now so clear that he enjoys more being a singer, and feels happier performing on stage,

He is filled with anticipation for their long waited comeback, and he is working his butt off preparing for it, so serious that he felt like he never worked that hard before,

During resting time, puffing, sitting down leaning on the wall in the studio, he gave her a call,

“Hello,” The call was answered.

“Where are you?” He asked.

“Filming, I got quite a lot of works piles up, how about you?” She replied.

“I’m practicing.” He said.

“Take good care of yourself, don’t be too tired.”

“Orh …… Let’s have dinner tomorrow night.” He said.

“……” She is quiet from her end,

“How’s that? ……” He asked.

“Focus on our works first, let’s talks about it later when we are not as busy.” She murmurs.

“……” He doesn’t know what else he could say,

“I got to go now, bye.” He heard someone is calling her name from her end.

“Arraso, Bye ……” That’s all HJ could say.

She hanged up “Doo… Doo…” The disconnecting tone is still ringing from his cell phone, he didn’t hang up, instead, he persistently staring at the screen.

This is the third time already…..

Since she came back to Seoul, whenever he sent her message, she only gave him a very simply reply,

“Yep, Take Care, Be Careful!” or

“Orh, Fighting!” ……

Her replies cannot be anyhow shorter than these.

Even phoning her asking her to meet up with him, she repeatedly told him to concentrate on their works first and they could discuss things afterward.

Worries dimly hidden under his shadow, 

Is something happened that he was not aware of?

Is he back at ground zero again?

He thought what he anticipates could achieve ahead of time, but why all of a sudden it seems shipping away again?

He does not mind to start his effort again, but he really wants to know what went wrong.

She said she still hasn’t figured out yet, and she needs time to think thoroughly. He certainly wants to go with her wishes, giving her plenty of time & room, and not to pressure her. But looking at the way thing goes, what exactly is she thinking of? …… Is she letting her imagination and worry run wild? ……

He has to come up with his own plan ……

Three in the morning, after his practice, HJ went to get his car and told Manager Hyung he has to go somewhere. HJ told MH he would go to the filming site on his own tomorrow.

Driving directly to her apartment building, parked in front of the building and looked up,

There is no lights up on her apartment, when he is still hesitate if he going to phone or not, a car slowly drove by, the head light is so bright that it blind his sight for a moment.

The car stopped and parked a few steps away from his, he reflexively takes a peek, and to his surprise, it actually is her car.

Watching her opening the door, and getting off her car.

He is getting off as well, walk up to her, “Hello!”

She is in shock, quickly looks back, and is very surprised to see him in the wee hours,

“Oh……, how come it’s you?”

Smiling at her, “That’s right, never thought we could bump to each other like this, such a coincidence.”

She oddly stared at him, “Coincidence? …… Bump into me in front of my apartment building?”

“Just at the time I’m gonna phone you, and you show up, of course that’s coincident.” He insisted.

He keeps looking at her outfit while talking to her, her skirt is really short, but at least she got her stockings on.

“Why did you come?” She asked.

HJ curls his lip, those words really put him in bad mood. But those words sound familiar, isn’t he said the same words to her before? When she visited him in Japan during WGM time, now, he knows how it feels when he heard it himself.

“You prefer to get in my car or we get up to your place?” HJ do gave her two choices.

Gazing at him for a while, make a sigh, she finally said, “Let’s get in your car.”

Sitting in the car, he steals glances at her, and examining her. She looks a bit tired, but she also looks calm.

“Just got back from Clubbing?” She came back in the wee hours, he cannot stop himself from asking.

“The magazine shooting ran later than expected.” She takes a look at him before she answered.

HJ made a fake cough to release his uneasiness,

“…… I didn’t come closer to you just now, afraid you would give me a kick, the taekwondo style.”

HB gave him a displeased stare, “I’m about to do that, why would you show up all of a sudden ……”

Looking at her, “You seem to have a good time in your US trip.”

“Yep, it is quite good, just like having a vacation …… How would you know?” She turned to him and asked.

“Cause …… You gain weight ……” Look at her intensively to her expression after he spilled out those words.

As expected, she looks anxious patting on her face, and flip open the mirror in the car to carefully examine her look,

“Sincha? Is it really that obvious?”

HJ starts to laugh, immediately HB gives him a heavy stare for a long time, but she break out a smile too at last.

“Why would you come?” She asked again.

“Wanna …… Wanna come look for you and see you in person.” Considering for a bit, he smiled and said,

She takes a look at him, “…… Now you already saw me, you better get back and get some rest.”
