Still cuts of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' are released.

Still cuts of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' are released.

Recently, the production crew of 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' released lots of still cuts from the shooting of episodes through the official website. In pictures, people can see mischievous acts of the main characters, which cannot be seen in the drama.

Especially, Yoo Ah-in's child-like smile cannot be related to his character 'Guloh' in the drama. The pleasant mood from the characters, which always were serious in the drama, is another surprising point in these pictures.

Kim Yeon-seong PD, who produced 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' said, 'As the last episode is getting closer, we all feel very sorry. To bring this to a successful conclusion, we are doing our best.”

Hwang Bo & Hyun Joong - I Can't By 2PM

I've become Joongboers since 2008 and up till now I never thought about trying to stop on believing... I am totally understand that times goes on, life move on, age keep increasing LOL and well people do change. My problem is... I don't want to believe half way even if someday they decide to fall in love and that the other half of them is not what I have in mind... I believe they have sincerely love each other...

I'm quoting this from jiyy738@soompi from Joongbo Couple Thread. Reading it remind me of my 1st ever feelings I have for Hwang Bo & Kim Hyun Joong. Knowing that it was fake marriage but still the feelings was real... I guess this is the best post I've read today.

Hello everyone~ I am new to the thread. Great to see you all routing for Joongbo couple!
First of all, this thread has a daunting number of contribution (almost 1500 pages now), even 200+ pages more than the mega hit drama "Boys over flowers." Way to go!!
I just began watching WGM few days ago and once I started, I couldn't stop. And frankly, Joongbo couple just stands out among all other lovely couples from the first season. Between them it's just so real. I used to work in the TV station and of course I am aware of the fact that everything is scripted, or at least highly staged. But there is something so genuine in their interaction that even though I am only half into the entire Joongbo episodes, I become teary from time to time. How can anyone say that it's only a show? :tears: They were awkward at the very beginning and gradually they started to care for each other like friends. ( Don't tell me what will happen since I want to see it myself. :tongue2: )
KHJ is definitely NOT putting on a show here. Look at how he was so resistant and aloof at the very beginning and now he is slowly but surely opening up himself to Hwangbo. I got to know KHJ through Boys over flowers and I remember having tremendous difficulty with his acting. Recently, I watched Playful Kiss in which he made great improvement. But still, there is something that I feel like is blocking him and that's why I still have trouble connecting myself to the various characters he played. However, after watching Joongbo couple, I realize who KHJ really is and I can understand the reason why sometimes it takes a long time for him to immerse himself into the fictional roles he is playing. He is just too shy, darn-right honest and often time endearingly vulnerable. (And of course, who can resist his dorky four-dimensionism?) Now I really adore him because he is just such a "real" person instead of a glossy CF image. He has flaws but he is so sincere. And he is so ambitious too and he has to win in every occasion. lol. I believe that he will definitely mature into a great actor in the future! (..can I add with the nourishment from Hwangbo? kekeke)
And our ever brave and loving Hwangbo. OMG. I wish I could have a wife like her. Even being a friend of her must be a blessing. At first, I was like... this woman really has patience since KHJ is sometimes so rude. But I think the reason why KHJ eventually opens up to her is because she actually is such a generous person with a kind heart. She even took care of other members of ss501! And her cooking, her big smiles, her vulnerability mixed with the unmistakable strength just make my heart flutter. Honestly, she is 100 times more attractive than any weak, sappy or "cute" girls from Korean dramas. ( I cannot stand them actually).
Wow. Such a long post here. I will come back here again when I finish the entire Joongbo episodes. My friends already warned me that I will cry like a little baby at the end. :(
BTW, I notice that there is some kind of discord between viewers of Playful Kiss and those of Joongbo couple recently, not only here but in other forums as well. Actually I also find that some KHJ fans were very resistant to Hwangbo and Joongbo couple. But how can that be? I mean someone like me only began to fall for the leader after watching WGM and I know that many Koreans fell in love with KHJ after the show. If anyone claims themselves to be a devout fan of KHJ, they should understand the importance of Joongbo for consolidating his fan base. And this fan base is not built on some kind of fictional characters he is performing but a real KHJ. Also, I adore JSM's performance in Playful Kiss too. But you cannot really use "chemistry" to describe the interaction between Hyun Joong and Hwangbo. Their relationship is rooted in mundane details of everyday life....fixing the hair, food, even killing the mosquitoes. lol...Maybe it's not so romantic and picture-perfect like drama CPs. But Joongbo couple really touches me deeply.

Lee Min Ho Wins More Hearts in Asia With "Personal Taste"

Actor Lee Min-ho [Starhaus Entertainment ]

Actor Lee Min-ho, who made his name known throughout Asia last year through mega-hit Korean TV series "Boys Over Flowers," is further solidifying his star status in the region with his latest drama “Personal Taste.”

His agency Starhaus Entertainment said Friday that “Personal Taste,” a story about a young architect pretending to be gay to live with a woman who wanted a male gay friend, is currently shown in Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong and will start airing in Japan and Thailand next month.

Lee is already popular in Thailand -- "Personal Taste" has yet to air there but was sought by over 120 media outlets for interviews during his recent visit to the country on October 16.

The actor and the drama has also graced the covers of the November edition of various Hallyu (Korean Wave) magazines in Japan.

“Despite the difficulty of running a promotional event for the drama we still receive an overwhelming number of demands for interviews in Japan, not just from Hallyu magazines but from fashion magazines, women’s magazines and other media outlets,” said the Japanese agency managing Lee's career in the country.

Lee, 23, debuted on the screen in 2006 but got his big break through "Boys Over Flowers" last year which also starred actress Ku Hye-sun and actor Kim Hyun-joong.

In MBC series "Personal Taste" which aired in Korea in March of this year, Lee played the main male character opposite Korean actress Son Ye-jin.

Lee, also a promotional ambassador for UNICEF's LOVE NET campaign, will visit Japan on November 11 to attend a charity concert titled “Love & Peace” hosted by the United Nations. He will provide the narration for a video at the event on people living in regions hit by severe earthquakes.

Next year, Lee is set to star in a new SBS drama series “City Hunter” whose story is adapted from a Japanese comic series from the 80s. Lee will take on the role of a private detective who saves the city.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal (JaeHee) Fanmade Vid.

U By 4 Men Lyrics Translation:

It feels Like time has stopped.
I 'm pinching my two cheeks
It feels like my heart has stopped
I'm bitting my lips

I think I fell in love
I don't know what to do
I think I fell into magic
I can not breathe
It feels like my chest is going to burst

Loving u... Loving u...

SHINee Jonghyun and Sin Se-gyeong Spotted Dating

Popular boy band SHINee member Jonghyun and actress Sin Se-gyeong have been spotted dating by a local media outlet.

Local sports daily Sports Seoul on Wednesday carried a report revealing photographs of the two on a date on October 20 along with confirmations by their agencies that they have romantically involved for about a month now.

In the photos, the couple, strolling at a park near Sin's house in the southern Samsungdong district of Seoul, were seen smiling and talking while Jonghyun had his arm around the actress or holding hands.

The paper also quoted sources close to the couple as saying that the two mostly talk over the phone or text message each other since they are often too busy to meet.

Another source said, "They became close quickly because they have similar thoughts and interests. They also both became stars at a young age which I'm sure has also been difficult for them in certain ways so I think they can talk to each other in this sense as well."

The report explained that the two first met at a concert in May for which Sin was one of the emcees and SHINee performed. They met again by chance at a get-together of a mutual acquaintance.

"I think it's been about a month since they've opened their hearts to each other. I think they're in the process of getting to know each other with fond feelings," an official at Sin's agency Namoo Actors was quoted as saying.

Jonghyun's agency SM Entertainment admitted to the relationship as well, explaining, "I think they've just started [dating each other]. I had heard they had met several times through an acquaintance."

Sin, 20, had garnered much attention when she first debuted at the young age of eight as the model of the poster for hit singer Seo Taeji's "Take 5" album.

After spending a few years off the screen, she then returned with a role in movie "My Little Bride" starring Moon Geung-young and Kim Rae-won in 2004, and played several more acting roles, but shot to stardom last year through MBC smash hit sitcom "High Kick 2."

She is currently promoting her film "Acoustic," an omnibus pic also starring boy band 2AM member Seulong and CNBLUE members Lee Jonghyun and Kang Minhyuk.

Jonghyun, also 20, debuted as the lead vocalist of his five-member band in 2008. SHINee is one of the most popular groups not only in Korea but throughout Asia.

They recently enjoyed a successful return to the music scene with their second repackaged album "Hello" and are readying for their first concert to be held in December in both Korea and Japan.

Until now more than happiness
I learned a lot more about pain
I had a lot of tears
But I’ll only give you laughter

Rain Rep. Readying Lawsuit Against Accuser

Singer and actor Rain's agency is preparing to file a defamation suit against Korean-American Daniel Kim who has accused the superstar of holding gambling debt.

In a phone call with Asia Economic Daily's Sports Today on Tuesday, J. Tune CEO Cho Dong-won said, "We will start taking the legal steps as soon as we finish writing our complaint. A suit for defamation of character through dissemination of false information may be lodged today at the earliest. "

He then explained, "Rain and the company reached the conclusion that we can no longer sit still because we are angry and have been wrongly accused ...... We will investigate into the truth and hold [the accuser] responsible through maximum help of the law. "

A week ago, Kim, an IT entrepeneur and promoter of Rain's Los Angeles concert in 2007, filed a lawsuit in the United States against Rain saying that he failed to pay him back 150,000 dollars he borrowed for gambling in Las Vegas three years ago.

Kim also said Rain has a "heavy gambling habit" and met with an immigrations officer to obtain a green card in the US which would exempt him from serving Korea's two-year mandatory military duties.

J. Tune has dismissed the charges as "intolerable slander" and Kim attempting at "marring Rain's status by abusing his celebrity status and attempting to gain advantage in his suit over the cancellation of the LA show."

Rain's LA concert had failed to take place over several conflicts between Rain's agency and Kim's company which resulted in a lawsuit filed against the star, but a court had deemed Rain does not hold any responsibility for the cancellation.

Rain, whose real name is Jung Ji-hoon, has been considered one of the most successful Korean stars in the entertainment business throughout Asia since his debut in 2002.

In early October, it was announced that Kim will make his debut as a musical actor, playing the double role of Jimin and Jung-min in the year-end run of the musical.

The fact that Park Jaebum experienced standing on the same stage as 'Far East Movement', who has taken up #1 on the Billboard charts, is garnering attention as it was revealed only recently.

On the 21st, the 4-member hiphop group containing 2 Koreans, 'Far East Movement's 'Like A G6' took 1st place on one of USA's Billboard single charts, 'Hot 100', as well as taking #1 for Most Downloaded in Apple's iTunes. It is the first time that a descent from Korea has taken up #1 on the Billboard.

As well as the news about Far East Movement taking up No. 1 on the Billboard charts, their meeting with Park Jaebum in the YouTube stars' concert in September, 'ISA' in LA, is also becoming a hot topic.

Park Jaebum and 'Far East Movement' did not have a collaboration, but the fact that they had performed on the same stage alone is attracting the attention of many in-country and overseas music fans.

On the other hand, 'Far East Movement' who has taken over the world's Billboard charts, is set to release an album in the country on the coming 25th.

Song Joong Ki is Starving for Some Love

Song Joong-ki, who plays as Goo Yong-ha in KBS 2TV 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', showed a cute complaint about him having no love line in the drama.

During the interview with 'Money Today Star News', Song Joong-ki said,
“I think I will be love-starved soon since only Goo Yong-ha has no love line in the drama.”

In 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal', Yoon-hee (Park Min-yeong), Gul-oh (Yoo Ah-in), and Seon-joon (Micky Yoochun) are creating a love triangle. Goo Yong-ha is the only person who doesn't have a love line among the 'Jal-geum Quartet'.

Song Joong-ki said,
“it is a rare case that a main character doesn't have any love line. I even told the director that if I get any love line, I might kiss her right away.”
He thought for a second and added,
“On the second thought, it will be better to have no love line for Song Joong-ki since he is at the place in middle of other members. I will rather leave as 'Everyone's Lover'.”
Song Joong-ki finished his words by saying,
“I want to do a romantic comedy for the next drama/film. I will act better since I didn't have any woman for this drama.”

On the other hand, 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal's' viewer rating is increasing little by little as the last episode is coming. It is on its peek after Yoon-hee's true gender was revealed.

If a singer's at the shooting place of a pictorial, it is always possible for anyone to notice that 'today is the day when a singer's being filmed'. This is because they, either in a loud or soft voice, always keep humming, singing, playing, and dancing. Always behind their back, there is an aura switched on that says, 'I'm greeting the music god right now'. Even if they have severe shyness and hide themselves for a few minutes, it's no use. Whatever genre it is, their identities are easily found out by turning on music. As soon as the volume of the audio is adjusted louder, singers, like they have an electric current flowing through their bodies, start moving their hands and feet without them realizing. Their shoulders move up and down, and their feet play an invisible drum.

In the set, Jaebum was a singer. While waiting for the staff, he left the many chairs of the studio alone, instead choosing to sit at the foot of the stairs, following the rhythm with his shoulders whilst reciting a R&B song. The everyday Jaebum who had no makeup or hair styling was not a charismatic beastly idol, but a boy with a face that calls up protective instincts from others. The appearance of Jaebum outside of the stage, agreeing to his statement that had said that his fandom had started from maternal instinct, showed such lovely, innocent simplicity. However, as I interviewed him face-to-face, I could tell that maternal love wasn't the only reason so many 'noona's went wild about him. Of course, he is objectively beautiful enough. His boyish face is more nicer than the ones in cartoons, and his body, refined with dancing and exercise, is hard as steel. However, as the questions progressed on, it could be read that what he had trained and equipped so harshly was not his six-pack, but his passion and love towards music. It was almost to the verge where I felt respect towards him for not wasting his God-given abilities callously but lashing himself strictly. More than anything, I knew for sure that it was the fans who had waited for him and trusted him without changing that had let him the power to do his music however he wanted. His fans, also, know about this sort of mindset Jaebum has better than anyone, which is probably why they support and love him.

Jaejoong~For You It's Separation, To Me It's Waiting

The day seems to last forever
As if it read my heart
With passing time, will it fade?

Except for your empty space
Everything is the same
My heart must be broken
Can't seem to accept that I sent you away
All my love is now in vain

I sent you away
But my waiting has just begun
Don't leave my love
I may never see you again
You are still in my heart

Except for your empty space
Everything is the same
My heart must be broken
Can't seem to accept that I sent you away
All my love is now in vain

I sent you away
But my waiting has just begun
Don't leave my love
I may never see you again
You are still in my heart

Don't leave my love
I may never see you again
Wherever whenever
When you're tired and discouraged, come back to me
Be happy my love
Until that day, forever that day (when we can be together)

I want you to forget me
Don't hesitate
For now.
